About
Across Google, Amazon Web Services, Oracle, Sun Microsystems, and Sapient Consulting, Sowmya has built a track record of taking complex initiatives from idea to scaled execution, working across engineering, sales, consulting, and go-to-market teams in fast-moving, matrixed environments. At Google Cloud, Sowmya helped launch and expand AI and cloud skilling programs from one country to over 20, partnering with enterprise customers, governments, and higher education institutions to drive impact. Sowmya understands that the hardest part of leading through disruption is not the technology, but the organizational layer: building alignment across competing stakeholders, making the case for initiatives when the path is not yet proven, and keeping teams focused when everything feels uncertain. Those are the conversations she find most valuable and focuses on as a coach. Sowmya has supported senior leaders at Google, Google's Startups for Sustainable Development program, and Stanford GSB's LEAD Incubator and Startup Accelerator. Sowmya has also navigated multiple career pivots of her own. That experience gives her a grounded perspective on professional transitions, and it informs the work she do with leaders thinking carefully about what comes next. Sowmya is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) and ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC).
